1.At the surgical-Orthopedic clinic of the faculty of Medicine in Priština,from total number of 5.455 trated patients during the period 1968-1977,1184 patients were trated from urolithiasis wich represents 22% of all treated.2.In the SAP Kosovo the frequency of urolithiasis was approximately 9,5%in 10.000 inhabitants.However,great differences in frequencywere observed from commune to commune.Whereas the frequency in 10.000inhabitants of Priština was 31, in Glogovac over 17, Lipljan 13, Orahovac and Suva Reka 12,Prizren 11 and Dragaš 9,other comunes had much lower frequency.The lowest frequency of urolithiasis was stated in comunes of Kosovska Mitrovica and Peć: only 2 in 10.000 inhabitants.3.Male patients suffered from urolithiasis more often than female did (77:23%).Depending on age,the highest incidence of urolithiasis was observed in men of 11-50 and in women of 20-40 years of age. 4.Kidney was the most frequency involved part of urinary ways,then follwed ureter,bladder and urethra as the last one.In all localzations,urolithiasis in men was found more often.It is particularly refered to bladder urolithisiasis,wich was stated in 98%. 5.Solitary calculi of urinary ways occured more frequent than multiple,while corraliform calculi were found 14 times only. 6.In the SAP Kosovo childrens urolithiasis was found in 33% of formed urolithiasis was found in 33% of formed urolithiasis and that represents every third patient treated at our clinic.According to this frequency of childrens urolithiasis ,we are given the first unenviable position in Europa and USA.
