A parcel of land belonging to MARY B. PARKMAN, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the proposed line of widening of Emerson street, there measuring fiftyfour and 1 feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from W. P. Mason and C. H. Parker, fifteen and to feet; southwestwardly by the present line of Emerson street, fifty-four and 6 feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Michael Hourihan, sixteen and to feet; containing seven hundred and ninety square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to W. P. MASON and C. H. PARKER, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the proposed line of widening of Emerson street, there measuring sixty-three and not feet ; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Jacob N. Goodnough, fourteen and 1580 feet; southwestwardly by the present line of Emerson street, sixty-three and 6 feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Mary B. Parkman, fifteen and 1% feet; containing eight hundred and sixty-eight square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to JACOB N. GOODNOUGH, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the proposed line of widening of Emerson street, there measuring seventyseven and 10 feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Samuel G. Howe, thirteen and to feet; southwestwardly by the present line of Emerson street, seventyseven and 14 feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from W. P. Mason and C. H. Parker, fourteen and Ho feet; containing nine hundred and ninety-one square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to SAMUEL G. HOWE, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the proposed line of widening of Emerson street, there measuring ninety-four and too feet; westwardly by H street, twelve and to feet; southwestwardly by the present line of Emerson street, ninety-four and 9% feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Jacob N. Goodnough, thirteen and 18 feet; containing eleven hundred square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to MARGARET WARD, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the proposed line of widening of Emerson street, there measuring one hundred twenty-one and feet; northwardly by Third street, thirtytwo and a feet; southwestwardly by the present line of Emerson street, one hundred fifty-five and 8. feet; and eastwardly by H street, ten and for feet; containing fourteen hundred and fifty-one square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to MARY B. PARKMAN, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring twenty-six and feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from the heirs of Eliza Parker, nine and 4 feet; and southwardly by Third street, twenty-five and Mr feet; containing one hundred and nineteen square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to the HEIRS OF ELIZA PARKER, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring sixty-one and 13 feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Jonathan Mason, thirtyone and 15 feet; southwardly by Third street, fifty-eight feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Mary B. Parkman, nine and 4 feet; containing eleven hundred and seventy-six square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to JONATHAN Mason, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring sixty-one and 10% feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from William Childs, fifty-two and US feet; southwardly by Third street, fifty-eight feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from the heirs of Eliza Parker, thirty-one and 10 feet; containing twenty-four hundred and thirty-three square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to WILLIAM CHILDS, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring sixty-one and feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Charles S. Hildreth, fifty-three and 18 feet; southwestwardly by the southwesterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, sixty and feet; southwardly by Third street, one and the feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Jonathan Mason, fifty-two and 4 feet; containing three thousand and ninety-six square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to CHARLES S. HILDRETH, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring twenty-eight and feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from the heirs of John Osborn, fifty-three and feet; southwestwardly by the southwesterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, twenty-eight and feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from William Childs, fifty-three and 138 feet; containing fourteen hundred and fourteen square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to the HEIRS OF JOHN OSBORN, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring twenty-nine and feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Mary B. Parkman and from Elizabeth and Ann M. Moore, fifty-three and feet; southwestwardly by the southwesterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, twenty-nine and feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Charles S. Hildreth, fifty-three and feet; containing fourteen hundred and sixty eight square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to ELIZABETH and ANN M. MOORE, bounded as follows, viz.: northwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Mary B. Parkman, sixteen feet; westwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Mary Harris, nine and %% feet; southwestwardly by the southwesterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, seventeen and 18 feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from the heirs of John Osborn, fifteen and 1% feet; containing two hundred and five square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to MARY HARRIS, bounded as follows, viz. : northwardly by land hereinafter described as taken from Mary B. Parkman, there measuring twenty-six and 4 feet; southwestwardly by the southwesterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, twenty-seven and 10 feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from Elizabeth and Ann M. Moore, vine and feet; containing oue hundred and twenty-nine square feet, more or less.

A parcel of land belonging to Mary B. PARKMAN, bounded as follows, viz. : northeastwardly by the northeasterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, there measuring seventy-eight and on feet; northwestwardly by Dorchester street, fifty-three and 10% feet; southwestwardly by the southwesterly line of the proposed extension of Emerson street, seventy-two and a feet; southwardly by land before

described as taken from Mary Harris, and from Elizabeth and Ann M. Moore, forty-two and 2 feet; and eastwardly by land before described as taken from the heirs of John Osborn, thirty-seven and feet; containing forty-five hundred and eighty square feet, more or less.

AND WHEREAS due notice has been given of the intention of this Board to take the said parcels of land for the purpose aforesaid, as appears by the return hereunto annexed, IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, that the parcels of land before described be and the same hereby are taken and laid out as a public street or way of the said city ; according to a plan of the said widening and extension made hy Thos. W. Davis, City Surveyor, dated February 8, 1872, and deposited in the office of the said City Surveyor. And this Board doth adjudge that the expense of widening and extending the said Emerson street, as aforesaid, will amount to twenty-six thousand five hundred and forty-two dollars; and that the damages to the estates, parts of which are taken as above, are the sums set against them respectively on the schedule hereto annexed.
