CUT THIS UP AND PASTE IN. CORPORATIONS IN CALIFORNIA BY CHARLES A. SON NOTICE. Certain of the code sections printed in part II of this book are affected by the decision of the Supreme Court in Lewis v. Dunne, filed October 10, 1901, the effect of which decision is to render unconstitutional the acts embodying the code commissioners' bills of 1901. Enclosed are code slips furnishing the text of the affected sections as they existed prior to the amendments of the code commissioners. Appended is a list of sections, which though containing the verbal changes authorized by the commission, yet state in substance the existing law. Such of the other sections herein as are not found in the codes as they now stand are merely the codifications of existing statutes. As their substance is law in all respects, it is deemed unnecessary to reprint them in statute form. Sections unchanged in substance but in which verbal or grammatical changes authorized by the code commission are incorporated: C. C. 299, 302, 303, 314, 315, 325, 391, 893, 414, 449, 450, 514, 517, 518, 549, 551, 574. C. C. P. 581, 542. Penal Code. 1890, 1391.
