§ 4. This act shall take effect immediately.

CHAPTER 52

AN ACT making appropriations for the legal requirements of state debt service and lease purchase payments

Became a law April 17, 1985, with the approval of the Governor. Passed on message of necessity pursuant to Article III, section 14 of the Constitution by a majority vote, three-fifths being present.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. The several sums specified in this section or so much thereof as may be sufficient to accomplish in full the purposes designated by the appropriations, are hereby appropriated from the general fund--state purposes account, and are made available for the legal requirements of interest payments on bond anticipation notes and tax and revenue anticipation notes for the fiscal year beginning on April first, nineteen hundred eighty-five.

For the legal requirements of debt service on tax and revenue anticipation notes, bond anticipation notes and short term series notes, in accordance with the following schedule.

The sum of two hundred seven million, eight hundred
fifty-five thousand dollars ($207,855,000), or so much
thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated
for payment by the state comptroller of interest on
tax and revenue anticipation notes during fiscal 1985-
86

The sum
of four hundred fifty-four million, eight hun-
dred ninety-six thousand, two hundred fifty-two dol-
lars ($454,896,252), or SO much thereof as may be
necessary, is hereby appropriated for payment by the
state comptroller of principal and interest on serial
bonds issued in connection with higher education con-
struction, mental health construction, pure waters,
environmental quality, highways, transportation capi-
tal facilities, rail preservation, outdoor recreation
development, energy conservation through improved
transportation, parks and recreation land acquisition
and rebuild New York through transportation infra-
structure renewal during fiscal 1985-86

The sum of two million, nine hundred thirty-two thousand, three hundred thirty-six dollars ($2,932,336), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated for payment by the state comptroller of principal and interest on serial bonds issued in connection with higher education construction, mental health construction, pure waters, environmental quality, highways, transportation capital facilities, rail preservation, outdoor recreation development, energy conservation through improved transportation, parks and recreation land aquisition and rebuild New York through transportation infrastructure renewal during fiscal 1985-86
