Oct. 22. Samuel Newman was run over and killed by coal train, in the night, near Chenango Forks. Nov. 14. Michael McGraw, engineer, and Charles H. Davis, fireman, were severely injured by explosion of engine; McGraw died from his injuries Dec. 19th, 1864. 1865. May 18. Michael Ahern, while sleeping upon the track, was run over and killed by passenger train near Chenango. Sept. 22. A little daughter of Morgan Dunn, aged about eighteen months, while playing upon the track in Syracuse, was run over by the gravel train and instantly killed. NAMES AND RESIDENCES OF OFFICERS.
