an old coat in the
closet; no damage,
except to the coat.

A little boy set fire

was killed and sev-
eral wounded.

by children, one of
whom, a boy Henry
Noyes, four years
old, was taken from
the premises nearly
lifeless from suffo-
cation. Mr. H. A.
Ladd, a member of
H. & L. No. 1, re-
ceived a severe cut
in the foot while in
the discharge of his
duty.

Caused by the upset-
ting of a kerosene
lamp; small loss.
