Be it Resolved, that we declare laws in favor of such action by the Congress of the United States as will probihit the issuance of a license to engage in the sale of intoxicating liquors to anyone to carry on such business in any place where, by State or local law, the sale of such liquors has been prohibited, and to this end we request the members of Congress, both in the Senate and in the House, from this State, to support such legislation as is contemplated by the bill introduced in Congress by Lively, of Texas, (same being House Resolution 31, 726).
