House bill No. 607, A bill to be entitled "An Act to abolish the office of district attorney in the Seventh Judicial District, composed of the counties of Camp, Smith, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood; providing that the county attorneys in the respective counties shall perform the duties required of district attorneys, receiving therefor the fees allowed district attorneys by law; providing that the present district attorney shall hold his office for the period for which he was elected; repealing all laws in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency."
