heard, and grieve to think how little you have improved the time afforded you. Hear, then, while you have time—while you have opportunity, and "search, and try your ways." Remember whom you are denying Christ your Saviour! Remember denying-Christ what you are despising-God's free grace in Him! Remember what you are neglecting-the greatest of all blessings, even "salvation with eternal 66 glory." But God still "waits that he may be gracious;" He still calls you to come unto him, and accept his proffered gifts. I implore you then to obey the call! "Let my counsel be acceptable "unto (you), and break off (your) sins and iniquities." Lay aside your prejudices-renounce your self-righteousness and false dependencies and "return unto "the Lord." Come unto God through Christ, and He“ will in no wise cast (you) out.' "Come unto (him), weary and heavy laden, and 66 (from his grace) you shall find rest,”—spiritual, heavenly, and everlasting rest" unto your souls."5 Once more, as an unworthy "ambassador for "Christ, as though God did beseech you by us, "we pray you, in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled "to God."6 In conclusion, my dear Brethren, I must again acknowledge the grateful sense, I shall ever bear, of the uniform encouragement that you have given to me and my ministry. And if, through 12 Tim. ii. 10. 2 Isa. xxx. 18. 3 Dan. iv. 27. 6 2 Cor. v. 20. 9 Lam. iii. 40. 5 Matt. xi. 28. my humble endeavours, any spiritual benefits have been obtained, let me entreat you to ascribe the glory, where alone it is due-unto God the GIVER! For "God forbid that I should glory, save in the "cross of our Lord Jesus Christ."7 Therefore 66 not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto THY "NAME give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy "truth's sake!" "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, "and to the WORD of his GRACE, which is able to "build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified." "And 66 66 may the God of peace, that brought again from "the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of "the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting "covenant, make you perfect in every good work "to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing" in his sight, through Jesus Christ; "to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.' 66 8 Psl. cxv. 1. 7 Gal. v. 14. 1 Acts. xx. 23. 2 Heb. xiii. 20, 21 112 FINIS. BY THE SAME AUTHOR, Part I. 8vo. price 1s. 6d.
