REPORT UPON THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF DIPHTHERIA ANTI TOXIN AND VACCINE VIRUS FOR THE YEAR ENDED NOVEMBER 30, 1909. REPORT UPON THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF DIPHTHERIA ANTITOXIN AND VACCINE VIRUS FOR THE YEAR ENDED NOVEMBER 30, 1909. The production of diphtheria antitoxin and vaccine has continued under the direction of Dr. Theobald Smith, at the laboratory of the State Board of Health, at Forest Hills. The distribution has been conducted, as before, at the office of the Board. The total number of packages issued by the Board during the fourteen years and eight months ended Nov. 30, 1909, was as follows: In 1895-1896 (year ended March 31), The serum was distributed to local boards of health, to hospitals, and to practitioners in 190 cities and towns, 60 of which used more than 100 bottles each.
