About the author (2014)

Linda D. Swink is a professional speaker and author who holds a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at El Paso. A member of the National Speakers Association and Toastmasters International, she conducts workshops and seminars that focus on the special concerns women face at the lectern. She lives in Manchester, Connecticut.

Dr. Richard L. Weaver II is a retired professor of speech communication. His previous books include Essentials of Public Speaking and Understanding Interpersonal Communication. He lives in Perrysburg, Ohio.
