TREASURY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, expenditures
relating to the performance of fiscal agent, trustee
sole custodian responsibilities on behalf of certain
agencies and authorities shall be a charge to these
agencies and authorities. Payment of such charges shall
be in a manner prescribed by the commissioner of taxa-
tion and finance and may include the withholding of in-
terest due on any investments made for such agencies and
authorities.

The department shall, utilizing the follow-
ing schedule, report to the legislature
regarding the current status of the sys-
tems modernization project. Each report
shall contain a revised workplan in addi-
tion
the following specified
information. No later than May 15, 1985
the department shall report in writing on
the status of the hardware and software
requests for proposals as of May 1、 1985.
No later than June 15, 1985, the depart-
ment shall report in writing on the status
of the functional design of both the case
and resource tracking system and the tax
accounting system as of June 1, 1985. No
later than September 15, 1985 the depart-
ment shall report on the status of the
technical design of both the case and
resource tracking system and the tax ac-
counting system as of September 1. 1985.
In addition, the September 15, 1985 report
shall include a summary of the request for
proposals selection process and the deci-
sion reached pursuant to this process. No
later than October 15, 1985 the department
shall report in writing on the status of
hardware installation. No later than Fe-
bruary 15 1986 the department shall report
in writing on the progress of the project
as of February 1, 1986. Such report shall
