What begins as an entertaining tale for children grows up with the reader turning a little more complex every new book. The author succeeds at making each of them better than the previous and what is more important at continuing the same story without tiring the reader. ( )

Published between 1999 and 2005, these are all first editions. Number seven is not Bloomsbury, so not counted in with these. ( )

Like the way Rowling builds up concepts and stereotypes and then tarnishes it all by presenting a counter concepts. I especially like the Dumbledore-harry conversations towards the end of each book which neatly encapsulates the philosophy and logic behind each book. ( )

Who have thought that the author of this book has a great and wide imagination? That could make such wonderful stories of Harry Potter. I am very fond of Harry Potter and I love reading the books again and again. This book is really an entertaining and really good for the children who loves fantasies and magic. ( )

What's not to love about this great author and her superb imagination? She has created characters that we love and hate and can't get enough of. She has created a world rich with imagery and the very real battle of good and evil that we all face everyday.

I'm treating this listing as an all inclusive 1-7 even though it says 1-6. I love the Harry Potter books. I know that leaves me lumped with billions of others, and my review is unecessary, but these books are absolutely breath taking and inspired. That's my opinion! ( )

At this point I guess everyone know that Harry Potter is a great series filled with great characters and an interesting and not completely obvious plot. A great book for adults and young adults a little. Personally my favorite aspect of the books is that when they age, they actually age. The don't just get bigger, but they get more mature and start to think more. A truly great set of books. ( )

I started this series much later than the rest of the world. Book 3 was out before I had even heard of book 1 (I forget which rock I lived under). But once I got started I think it took me 1 month to read the first 3 & I was waiting in line with all the little kids to get #4! ( )

These are alright books but people get a little bit too caught up in them. I want Snape to take over in the end just so I can laugh at all the charecters in the book.I like snape even though he killed dumbledore, dumbledore had i coming to him he was to niave sanpe was smart, patient and loyal...just to the wrong people. What can you say? It's Harry Potter!! ( )

A child discovers he is a wizard and must go to a special school to hone those skills. At school the magic of "magic" is eclipsed by the reality of school work needed to perform it, and typical kid preoccupations of sports and food. A cute story is capped off with a mysterious deadly secret. ( )

I was a late-comer in the world of Harry Potter. Just discovering the book series last summer, I found out what a fun-filled and absorbing read this book is. It contains many elements: action/adventure, humor, suspense, and a touch of 'romance'. Probably the most fabulous children's series written so far, it is great for a reader of any age. ( )

Harry Potter is a real character. He is just having ordinary life as our children. It is much better than those characters found in mass media such as superman. In the story, he lived with his Aunt and Uncle after the death of his parents. Afterwards, he went to a wizard school where he learns magic. ( )
